His journey began as an apprentice bricklayer at a local family-run business, where he spent a decade to honing his skills. Following this, Richard ventured into independent projects before becoming a pivotal force in establishing CMR Brickwork Specialists.

Richard finds immense satisfaction in successfully delivering projects and securing repeat business from satisfied clients. One of the most rewarding aspects of his job is witnessing the team's dedication to achieving the high standards that CMR is known for. Richard takes pride in fostering an environment where quality of workmanship is at the forefront.

Beyond the construction site, Richard can be found watching his son play rugby. 

Twenty years of construction industry experience brought Joe Butler to the role of Director at CMR Brickwork Specialists. Joe's career began in the plumbing sector, providing a foundation of understanding of the intricate workings of construction. His experience evolved through management roles in larger mechanical and electrical engineering businesses, providing a comprehensive perspective on the construction industry. Joe's commitment to growth and innovation led him to join CMR Brickwork, where he saw the potential for business expansion and the opportunity to implement new processes and operational procedures.

Joe's arrival marked a significant chapter for CMR, bringing fresh perspectives and a commitment to implementing progressive, strategic processes whilst supporting a growing team. Joe is dedicated to expanding CMR by cultivating relationships with new clients and engaging in exciting projects.

Outside of work, holidays and socialising with family and friends is at the forefront for Joe.

Bringing more than 25 years of expertise in managing construction contracts across diverse sectors, Alan Haggerty assumes the crucial role of Operations Manager at CMR Brickwork Specialists. His extensive background spans civil engineering, electrical, and heritage building restoration, encompassing a spectrum from small domestic contracts to multi-million pound, multi-trade framework contracts. Alan joined CMR with a clear vision of utilising his skills to implement company redirection and to contribute to the creation and improvement of teams and reporting procedures. His mission is to unlock the full potential of the company.

Alan finds motivation in the dynamic nature of his strategic responsibilities and enjoys the camaraderie with his colleagues. Personal connections, laughter and fun creates a positive work environment amongst the CMR Brickwork team.

Alan is an avid supporter of Mansfield Town Football Club. His passion for football is complemented by a love for holidays and quality time spent with family and friends. 

David Tomblin's construction industry experience began as a labourer, before obtaining a brickwork qualification in 2008. His skills expanded as he took on bricklayer and groundwork roles before transitioning into a teacher/trainer position at a local construction training centre, enriching future generations with his knowledge. Currently, as a Site Supervisor for CMR, he oversees the day-to-day operations and ensures the quality of construction sites throughout the Midlands.

David's diverse background, encompassing both practical experience and teaching roles, brings a unique perspective to his supervision responsibilities whilst his attention to detail and commitment to quality make him an integral part of CMR's leadership team.

David finds fulfillment in the variety that each day brings. Working with a diverse group of people, he embraces the challenges that come with the dynamic nature of construction. Witnessing the progress of jobs and the tangible results of hard work is what motivates David in his role. The satisfaction of seeing projects evolve and knowing his efforts contribute to the success of CMR brings a sense of accomplishment.
